Vague confusion...

I admit a certain amount of confusion regarding one of today's DD's, namely this one:



It is not, per se, that I think it's unworthy — it is gorgeous. However... it... it's a pencil rendition of a previous Daily Deviation from 2005:



Now, I can't read what the description says, except that they DO acknowledge the person who posted the original photograph... but still... c'mon, dA. Is there nothing more worthy of a DD today on this site than a reiteration (however good) of a previous DD...?

Thanks for adding this very slow updating comic to your watchlist... I plan to have more upates as soon as I can get the scanner hooked up. It looks like the updates will be around the weekends from now on, since those are my day's off from work! :D
